Michigan Mathematics and Science Leadership Network
The Michigan Mathematics and Science Leadership Network (MMSLN) strives to achieve equitable access to research and standards-based mathematics and science learning experiences for all students.
Michigan has been a lead state with over 20 field test teachers in the Middle School field test. We have seven facilitators for all the middle school units!
MMLSN works with any district throughout Michigan to design and implement equitable learning opportunities. MMSLN facilitators have all engaged in multiple learning opportunities focused on equitable, culturally responsive, science education.
The MMSLN team works with district leaders and teachers to identify professional learning needs and map out sustainable and developmental plans based on district needs. Our facilitators can support other NGSS-aligned PL experiences to support implementation of OpenSciEd, such as NGSX.
