Extension STEM Educators in Cook County will provide an overview of OpenSciEd for Middle School and an outline of the curriculum-based professional learning associated with these Open Educational Resources. There will be time for Q&A, and the Extension Educators will be available to determine the best ways to make this transformational curriculum and professional learning accessible to teachers, schools, and districts in Cook County and Illinois.
These informational sessions will be most relevant to educators in Illinois, specifically Cook County and the Chicago Metropolitan Region, but all are welcome to come to learn the basic tenets of OpenSciEd Professional Learning.
Information provided at each session will be the same, but Q&A may be different.
The dates and times are as follows:
-Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 4-5 pm Central Time
-Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 3:30-4:30 pm Central Time
