The OpenSciEd staff is tiny, and much of our organization’s strength is in our partnerships. We have a variety of ways in which individuals and organizations can partner with us, described below, and we also invite new ideas for collaboration.
Ways to Partner
If you are passionate about OpenSciEd’s instructional materials, equitable instruction, and professional learning and have the experience and expertise to facilitate our professional learning, we invite you to consider joining our Facilitator Team.
Many of the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds, and experiences, and we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment. As we expand the OpenSciEd Facilitator Team, we are looking to bring in people who are experienced professional learning facilitators with a commitment to equitable science instruction. For more information about the Facilitator Team and how to apply, visit this page.
There is a growing network of OpenSciEd-Certified professional learning providers who can support schools and teachers with professional learning. These OpenSciEd-Certified PL providers have engaged in learning with OpenSciEd, have demonstrated their expertise and understanding of the OpenSciEd materials, and are ready to support teachers and school systems. We are interested in continuing to build our network of providers. To learn how to become an OpenSciEd-Certified PL provider, visit this page.
We partner with publishers, printers, and kit providers to provide districts and teachers with the materials they need to implement OpenSciEd. Organizations interested in becoming certified materials distributors should contact Daniel Toberman, Director, Commercial Partnerships Director.
We love to collaborate with others to support science education and are open to new ideas and partners. Contact us at info@openscied.org.
