Liberty Science Center – OpenSciEd Teacher PD Series for Units 6.1 and 7.1

Join us for this four-day virtual professional learning series focused on OpenSciEd Unit 6.1 and 7.1. We will focus on the OpenSciEd instructional model, highlighting crucial features such as: classroom norms, driving question boards, student discourse, and student sense-making. In your grade level specific groups, you will explore the unit’s anchoring phenomenon and several other key lessons in the unit. We will also take a careful look at the unit’s storyline to provide each educator with a good foundation of the learning coherence within the unit.
