Michigan State University – Elementary School Team - OpenSciEd

The SOLID Start Project at Michigan State University (MSU) is jointly leading the development of the OpenSciEd Elementary instructional materials for grades K-2 with the University of Texas at Austin, BSCS Science Learning, and Northwestern University. MSU is also leading Literacy Integration & Text Development for grades K-5 to implement research-based approaches to integrating literacy and science practices in the curriculum materials. Additionally, MSU will lead the Assessment team to develop formative and summative assessment opportunities across grades K-5, as well as support the Math Alignment Team and Culturally and Linguistically Sustaining Team.
