The Dana Center at The University of Texas at Austin led the field test implementation efforts for the Middle School program. They partnered with the Development Consortium and State Leads to ensure smooth and effective implementation of all activities related to facilitator preparation and field test teacher professional development. The Dana Center, in collaboration with the University of Colorado Boulder, jointly led field test data collection and analysis activities, facilitating regular discussions of findings to support cycles of improvement. Dana Center science staff also authored content for the instructional materials, facilitated professional learning for field test teachers, and observed and videotaped classrooms to support implementation and learning.
